The Oriental Express - quick and easy greens for Summer-Sowing

Vegetable varieties grown in China & Japan, which are all incredibly easy to grow - and everyone who tries them is surprised that they haven't grown them before.

After June 21st is THE main time to sow all the Oriental Greens. They will grow very quickly in a normal outdoor spot and supply you throughout the autumn.

Santoh - fast yellow Pak Choi, salad or cook
Green Boy- fast green Pak Choi, salad or cook
Mispoona - a completely new leaf , big & quick, salad or cook
Dragons Tongue - a new salad mustard leaf - tasty without being hot!
Komatsuna - rounded oval leaves, from Japan
Tsoi Sim - brilliantly tasty luminous-green shoots
Mibuna - clumps of strappy leaves, good in salad
Mizuna - rosettes of feathery cut leaves
Yukina - Glossy green savoyed leaves
Green Wave - ice-resistant leaf mustard for winter, spicy raw, no heat once cooked

The Summer Sowing Selection

This lot will sort out your sowing from summer through til autumn, giving crops in autumn, overwinter and on into spring.

Colossal Fennel - for Autumn harvest
True Siberian Kale - for harvest from Autumn until next Spring
Land Cress - for Autumn salads
Winter Marvel Lettuce - cold resistant
Swede "Joan" - for Autumn harvest
Large cooking radish "Wiener Runder Kohlschwarzer" for use overwinter
Cabbage "Precoce de Louviers" for harvest in early Spring
Turnip 'Navet de Nancy' for Autumn harvest
Giant Red Carrot for late Summer/Autumn harvest
Aquadulce Longpod Broad Bean- for sowing in Autumn & harvest next Spring/Summer
Serpette Guilloteau Pea - for sowing in Autumn & harvest next Spring
Sanguina Beetroot - for harvest late Summer to Autumn
Sibilla Chard - for harvest late Summer , then overwintered for more leaves in Spring
